I have imported a complex 3D-structure from SolidWorks which I want to solve the Laplace equation to obtain the electric fields. I have, rather tideously, defined all the boundary conditions and drawn a box around the 3D-structure because I want to find the field outside the structure also.
The problem is that when I imported it, every main part of the structure are automatically defined as domains and if I solve the equation (I use the predefined electrostatics physics) the solution is on the inside of the structure. I am left with over 60 domains, which all require some kind of material definition. In other words I only want one domain, that is the box surrounding the structure.
Does anyone have any idea of what to do? I am kind of new to SolidWorks->Comsol LiveLink, so any help is greatly appreciated!
Best regards, T
